What is this session?

The Design + Direction Session is a focused, in-depth consultation in your home, where we work together on one space that needs attention.

In a single session, we could look at:

  • How the room feels and functions now

  • What’s not working – layout, colour, furniture, lighting, storage

  • What you’d love it to feel like instead – calm, welcoming, finished, new colours

  • The quickest, most effective changes you can make within your budget and timeframe

  • What do you need to purchase to complete the space

  • What are your current sticking points or challenges you can’t overcome

  • What are the barriers in the way of you completing this room

You leave with clear, practical direction – not a vague moodboard that gathers dust.

You will have a plan of action to move forward and complete. That may or may not include additional services from me, which you can decide. You will receive a written version of your plan with guidance and optional additional services if needed.

How the Design + Direction Session works

  • Ensure you are fully familiarised with the content of the Design + Direction session, particuarly with what is not included. You should also read the full terms and conditions before booking as these contain the booking and cancellation policy.

  • Book online
    Choose a time that suits you using my booking calendar, or send an enquiry if you’d like to ask any questions first.

  • The session
    We walk the space together, talk through what isn’t working and explore options – layout, colours, furniture, styling and practical changes. We cover anything that’s listed as available in the session, that’s within the two hour limit.

  • Your action plan
    After the session, you’ll receive a short written summary of the key decisions and next steps, so you can move forward with confidence.

  • Optional ongoing support
    If you’d like help implementing the design, we can discuss next-stage services such as:

    • Sourcing the final pieces, with access to my trade only suppliers

    • Purchasing the goods on your behalf, receiving the deliveries, unpacking, installing and getting that room ready to live in

      These are priced separately. More information available upon request.

What this session does NOT include

To keep this service focused and fairly priced, the following are not included as standard:

  • A moodboard or curated shopping list

  • Technical drawings or floor plans

  • Project management or contractor coordination

  • Ongoing design support after the session
