The signature design package has a number of deliverables, which are fixed. Each project is bespoke and everyone’s needs and homes are different. When you book the first consultation, this includes a full exploration of all the needs you have, all of the possible avenues to address them, some initial outline of how the project will run and all of the elements of the Signature Design Package that would need to be covered. Once all this is explored then the full design quote can be given. Each project is unique so the pricing is also bespoke. The budget per room for all works should be a minimum of £10,000, not including the design fee.

The projects are put into a plan and a payment schedule is created. There is a deposit payable up front then further installments during the process. The final payment is due when the design is signed off, which is when we are ready to then start the works and purchase the goods to complete the project.

Invoices are issued for each payment stage and you can pay via bank transfer, credit or debit card.

Yes, as of January 2024 credit cards can be used to make the payments.

Yes - there are several ways. The first is by looking at the time you spend on these type of activities. Hours of valuable time that you could be spending on other important things. Secondly, an interior designer will plan out every detail to complete the room. Everything will be considered in in context, planned, measured, checked. So there will be no expensive mistakes which happen when decisions are rushed.

We also use trusted suppliers, so when we recommend goods to you, it means these are tried, tested and trusted.

Only if you wish, but they can also be sourced and recommended. I would prefer to use my own contractors because I have built a relationship and also have tried and tested them for reliability and quality of work. If you find your own contractors then I will still share the designs so they know what to implement. If contractors have to be managed by me and they are from multiple companies, then the project costs will increase due to the extra time spent.

No, not exactly, however I choose suppliers based on what I need for designs. I have over 50 trade accounts with suppliers, globally. I have built relationships with them, have a direct contact via an account manager, have visited their showrooms regularly and know which suppliers provide quality of service as well as products.

If I am supplying goods to you then it is my suppliers only. I am not able to swap items to use suppliers to offer lower prices if it is a supplier that is unknown to me. If there is a need to reduce costs and a client finds the goods cheaper then it’s no problem to procure the goods yourself. However, there will be details that you will need to consider, such as stock availability, return policies, and delivery schedules.

The main reason I prefer to supply and use my own suppliers is so that the project remains hassle free for you and the contractors.

This depends on the package you take out, but they always start with a consultation where we discuss your requirements.

The design process is done entirely by me; you will have draft designs and give feedback until we have everything 100% to your liking.

Sourcing products, services and contractors can be done for you, as well as buying and managing them too. You can simply just give feedback and approve until the space is completed.

Yes, however I speciliase in boutique hospitality and wellness businesses. Purely because I am more passionate about those and that makes me far more creative.

All of my residential design services can be applied to commercial. I can also supply the goods and materials because I am VAT registered.

I can consider other types of business on request but cannot guarantee I can work on them.

Heritage properties can be challenging but they are such a treasure. They need lots of care and considerate design to ensure they are not ruined by bad choices.

Yes, I can work from floor plans and architects drawings. It is the best time to start the interior design, because occasionally an interior designer will spot things that the architect hasn’t considered, so if you need to make any changes then this is the best stage. For example, a kitchen layout. If that’s not thought through early enough then the services are installed and are therefore fixed. Same for bathrooms - layout amendments later can be tricky. Also, its worth while considering if you are making the best of your space; does it actually work for your lifestyle; is there enough storage; enough sockets, enough bathrooms. Interior design is not just about the finishing touches, it’s about design for the way you live at home.

Yes, and these can be some of the most challenging spaces. It’s easy to make expensive mistakes in these homes. You wait for a long time to get the keys, then get fed up of waiting so you rush to make the important decisions such as material finishes and major furnishing. I can work from the floor plans, so hand the decision making over early. We can get the goods lined up ready for moving in. You can enjoy your home a lot sooner.

Sometimes - it depends on the project. I can stage a home with some small investment from you as the owner. But I am not a staging company, I cannot loan goods for fixed terms. I have advised customers on how to present their homes better for photographs and viewings, and assisted with supplying soft furnishings to dress a house. I have also assisted customers with guiding them on the investment level required to get a property to a sale standard. These are done on a case by case basis and a quote can be provided following an exploration call.

Yes, I have experience on this and feel that these properties should be embraced and not feared. However, I am completely respectful of the principles behind this and I will not be able to design a property that involves going against the listed status.

I can help if you are both willing to put full trust in me for the design and hand everything over. It means I may agree with you, or your spouse. But having me there to check your ideas, isn’t really what interior design is about. The process is fully handled by me, starting with the creative ideas. And of course I will be exploring what is there already. But it would not be a worthwhile investment for you to hire me as a referee. You both need to like my style, and you can explore my work. My designs are inutitive, bespoke to the clients and by no means preconceived. If you both think I am the designer for you then great.

Yes, all of my services are available outside of Wales. Some can be tailored to work remotely but others will be priced accordingly as well.

As long as the renovation starts with an interior design by me, then yes. I have done this many times and it works well with regular update meetings and strong communication.
